Static Clings

Designed to showcase logos, fonts, and designs, window clings are made from an optically clear vinyl material that are made for non-adhesive applications while providing a secure ‘cling’ to the window, making for easy placement, removal, or re-use. Custom window clings can be displayed on glass, metal, plastic, or any other non-porous surfaces for temporary or long-term use. They are also commonly called clear static clings or static window clings.  An optically clear background offers a transparent display option for your window or storefront.  Areas of your design that do not have a background color will remain transparent from both sides; however, areas where ink is printed will not be optically clear.  Clear background static clings can be applied either inside the glass or standard.  When produced as inside the glass, it can be seen from the outside but applied to the inside surface of the glass by having the design reverse printed on the back side so the front side can stick to the inside of the glass yet be seen from outside.  When it is produced as standard, the static cling is seen and applied to the outside surface of the glass.  White static cling are similar to clear static clings but is printed on white film instead of clear film.

Installation and Care:
​Installation: Peel the protective backing away from the static cling. Use lightly soapy water to coat the back side of the cling and the window surface. Start at the top and work your way down, pressing the cling against the window. Use a rubber-tipped squeegee to remove excess water and bubbles. Once dry, your cling will adhere to the window yet be removable and repositionable.

Care: To remove dirt and dust, gently wipe your clings with a damp cloth or a paper towel. For better adhesion, simply peel them away from the window, clean them and window thoroughly and reapply.  When needing to store the window cling, simply remove it from the window, wipe it down to remove any surface dirt, then re-apply the protective backing on the ‘adhesive’ side. If you don’t have the protective backing, wax paper can be used as a protective backing.
